As a lifelong resident of the Dayton area, I was raised by a first generation Realtor. Before I became one of my family’s “second generation” Realtors, I attended the University of Kentucky and graduated with a bachelors degree in business communications. After graduation I was recruited for a sales position by Anhueser Busch Inbev at one of their corporate headquarters. This job was one of the most influential experiences and teaching moments of my life. I quickly learned a career with an income ceiling was not for me, and I was best suited for a career that matched my drive. With the encouragement of my family I decided to get my real estate license in fall of 2013. Using my previous sales experience I sold 32 homes in 2014 and became DABR Rookie of the Year. In 2015 my sales jumped to 48 transactions to end my second year as a Realtor. In 2016 I hired my first assistant and buyers agent. We ended the calendar year with 120 closed transactions and I was recognized as a National Association of Realtors Top 30 Realtors under 30.
In 2017 the Ryan Gillen Team was formed and finished the year with 160 closed transactions. The Ryan Gillen Team finished #2 at Irongate Inc. Realtors for sales volume and #1 for most units sold. Our team has grown and is now up to 11 licensed Realtors, a full time marketer, and photographer. My goal is to put every agent on my team in the best possible position to sell more homes. Our 2018 goals for our team and each individual has been set very high and we aim to achieve them.
The real estate industry has given me so many wonderful opportunities. I look forward to being a lifelong student of real estate and giving back to the community that has provided me with so much.
